This post is from Dave Winer's Wordland web based blog writing tool. I also am using Scott Hanson's Baseline theme for Wordland.
Wordland seems to be working as expected though the style popup does not function on the MacOS Safari browser as I have it configured. I'm sure there is some setting blocking it. So I am writing this using Wordland on Firefox for the Mac. Correction the popup does seem to work but is very sensitive to cursor position. I have to make sure the pointer is directly below the link or bold attribute I want to use. _Small_ misalignment that does not appear to be the case in Firefox. This turned out to not be true. The reason it worked on my laptop was I was using the _trackpad. Once I connected a mouse to the laptop the style bar no longer worked._
One more update on what may be the most esoteric bug I have found in a while. It appears the style bar only fails when I am using a mouse on safari on the Mac.

And a last update because I am a bit obsessive. I tried Wordland on my iPad with Safari and while the touch interface is not ideal for selecting text in the editor it does work as expected. The problem on the iPad is the Wordland text box stretches across the entire web browser so it looks elongated.
I like the sparse layout of the Wordland Editor as the WordPress Editor has become ever more complicated to accommodate every possible blog style.
I still need to find a simpler way to post 3D models to my blog. The current plugin is stable but requires several steps using multiple parts of the WordPress dashboard.
