It's the end of May already. This year is speeding by or maybe it's not. I have been reading a book "The Order of Time" by Carlo Rovelli. It's about how time is the most subjective experience. Time is localized to every particle. As we observe more and more of the universe we realize there's not much to the idea of "at the same time" or "it's happening now". Those phrases are artifacts of a previous reality. The one before relativity and space telescopes. Our new reality is going to require a very different way to express time. Voyager is now almost one light day away from us (about 15 billion miles / 23 billion kilometers). That means a radio wave that travels at the speed of light takes more than 23 hours to reach the ship. Voyager is traveling away from us at perhaps 35,000 mph. It has a nuclear battery that creates electricity from decaying plutonium that's been operating since 1977.  For reference the sun is about 93 million miles away and it's light takes about 8 minutes to reach us.
