It's June 1st. Happy Pride to all. Everyone ought to feel good about themselves and about everyone working towards fully realizing their potential. Exploring the world and exploring your inner life are not exclusive. What makes the world a home for us is the endless variety of our expressions. We all benefit from explorations into the unknown. We are diminished when opportunities are curtailed by reactionary ideologies. Rather than retreat from the new we need to continuously develop our identities. Our imaginations will all be ahead of our physical existence. That's a good thing. If our physical world ever outpaces our imaginations then we will indeed be in trouble. The universe is a dynamic place that incorporates all the possibilities and probabilities. There is no static unchanging system. There's certainly no universal definition about what is proper for our lives. Repression is all too often treated as a neutral condition. It's not. The status quo is not more valid. Change occurs. Sometimes we make mistakes and follow a path that doesn't lead where we expect. That shouldn't stop us from continuing our journey.  Sometimes you have to make your own path.
